When printing from a Mac, you may see “Hold for Authentication” in the print queue. This means the Mac's credentials are being rejected by the server. Choose the option that fits your situation:
You have three options:
- Sometimes, this is a temporary issue. Click the refresh button to see if it asks for credentials.
- Go to Keychain Access.app and delete the STATIONFPRINTER entry for the print queue. Then cancel the job and try again.
- Make sure to use your HAL LOGIN!
- Check that your VPN/Proxy is turned off.
- Update your HAL password here.
