To print from your Linux computer, you need to install a specific driver. This driver enables printing across campus when connected to the STATION F network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
Installing the Linux Driver
Requirements:
- Connect to the STATION F network.
- Disable VPN/Proxies.
- The driver won't work with VPN/Proxies enabled!
- Cups version 1.2+
- Download the driver archive (~28KB)
- Open your terminal and run tar -xvf papercut.tar to decompress the archive.
- Navigate to the papercut directory and run bash setup.sh to begin installation (you'll be prompted for your sudo password).
Your First Print Job
Before printing, ensure the Linux driver is installed and you're connected to the STATION F network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Also, disable VPN/Proxies.
Select "STATIONFPRINTER" from the available printers:

If everything is set, you'll receive a notification that your job is ready at the printer:
