We're in the process of transitioning from HAL 1 to HAL 2. During this transition, some features still live in HAL 1 — which is why we run regular syncs to keep both platforms up to date.
What's still in HAL 1?
Onboarding, KPIs, and a few other features haven't moved to HAL 2 yet. This is why, when you first arrive, you might not have access to HAL 2 right away — your account needs to be synced over first.
What does this mean day to day?
Anything that happens in HAL 1 needs a sync before it shows up in HAL 2. For example, if your gamification status changes — say, from Padawan to Sensei — that update will happen in HAL 1 first, and take a little time to appear on your HAL 2 profile.
How often does the sync happen?
Our team runs the synchronization several times a week. So changes made in HAL 1 — a new account, an updated KPI status, a gamification level-up — can take up to 72 business hours to show up in HAL 2.
What should I do if something hasn't updated?
Give it up to 72 business hours first — that's expected. If it's been longer and something still looks off, create a ticket in HAL 1 under IT & Tech -> Other Technical Issue and we'll take a look.
